Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an action performing toy which is composed of a small number of members, has a structure simple and less susceptible to breakdown and can perform many actions.
SOLUTION: This action performing toy 1 is provided with a toy body 2 having a rotary driving means 10 and a control means 70 for controlling the drive of the rotary driving means 10, action performing members 3 rotatably coupled to the toy body 2 by the drive of the rotary driving means 10, for example, right and left forelegs 3a and 3b and right and left hind legs 3c and 3d. The toy body 2 is provided with a ring-shaped contact point 50a concentric with the center of rotation of an action performing member 3, for example, the center of rotation of the left hind leg 3c and a plurality of contact points 50b0-50b7 which are placed in specified positions on a concentric circle surrounding the ring-shaped contact point 50a, and the left hind leg 3c is provided with a switch piece 40 in such a way that one end 40a of the switch piece 40 is always in contact with the ring-shaped contact point 50a when the left hind leg 3c rotates and the other end 40b is brought into contact with the plurality of contact points 50b0-50b7 in sequence to generate a signal. The control means 70 makes the action performing members 3 perform specified actions by identifying the signal and controlling the drive of the rotary driving means 10.
