To support action of a user to the object equipment while taking user's psychological state into consideration.
An action support device obtains the user's purpose from action purpose information which associates a series of action to the object equipment with purposes and the user's action history to the object equipment; detects a candidate of action, which is not performed properly from the action required to achieve the obtained purpose, based on the information which associates the action which is accepted by the object equipment and parameter values based on human property; determines the action to be estimated out of the action history based on the candidate and the obtained purpose; estimates user's psychological state at the time of performing the action decided from the parameter value, corresponding to the decided action; and estimates the action which is not performed properly from among the candidates, based on the action to be estimated, candidates of action not properly performed and the information regarding to the object equipment.
