Abstract:
PURPOSE:To execute a switching control with simple and cheap construction by detecting a carrier signal on a signal line by a switching command signal sent from a host computer. CONSTITUTION:When the power source of electronic equipment 1 is supplied, a host computer 4 outputs a transmission request signal as a power source supply command to a first modem 5. The first modem 5 sends a carrier to a second modem 7 in accordance with the transmission request from the host computer 4. A carrier detecting signal 12 from the second modem 7 is inputted to a modem control circuit 14, an supply signal is inputted from a contact output circuit 15 to a power source device 2 and the power surface of the electronic equipment 1 is supplied. When the power source of the electronic equipment is interrupted, an interruption command signal 17 is outputted and in accordance with that, an interrupting signal is outputted from the contact output circuit 15 to the power source device 2. In this case, even through the carrier signal is not detected, the interrupting signal is not outputted.
