Title:
ACTIVATION OF PEROXIDE AND ITS COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3811508
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a method of activating a peroxide wherein the storage stability which has hitherto been a demerit is improved, the solution is kept as an aqueous alkaline solution and the decomposition of the peroxide is facilitated, by using a combination of special components. CONSTITUTION: In a method of activating a hydrogen peroxide bleaching agent consisting of two aqueous solutions of agents, a mixed solution of (A) an aqueous solution of a bleaching agent based on hydrogen peroxide and (B) an aqueous solution which contains dicyandiamide in a quantity sufficient to activate the hydrogen peroxide and an organic builder and/or an inorganic builder as major component is kept alkaline. The organic builder and/or the inorganic builder is preferably silicates. When it is used, the solution (A) and the solution (B) are mixed for bleaching. At that time, the pH of the mixed solution is kept alkaline. Generally the solution (A) and the solution (B) are used in a ratio of 1:10 to 10:1. The amount of the hydrogen peroxide in the solution (A) is 0.3 to 30wt.%. The dicyandiamide is used preferably in an amount of 0.1 to 10mol for 1mol of hydrogen peroxide and is an amount of 2 to 20wt.% in the solution (B). The builder is used in an amount of 0.05 to 10wt.% in the mixed solution.
