Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active anti-roll suspension device in a shape of a shock absorber to effectively resist the torque guided when a car is turned.
SOLUTION: An active roll control and leveling device to be actuated between a sprung and an unsprung of a car is provided with a plurality of shock absorbers 20, 22 fitted between a car (the sprung part) and each wheel (the unsprung part) of the car, a hydraulic source to feed two hydraulic pressures, a detecting device 26 to detect the change of inertia of the car guided when the car is turned, and a control device to feed the hydraulic pressure to each shock absorber. In a preferable embodiment, the device is provided with a pump having a reservoir 30 and high pressure accumulator 54, 55 to distribute two separate hydraulic pressures. The device is also provided with an accumulator for shock absorber and a control plunger to simultaneously transmit the pressure to the shock absorbers.
