Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an active carbon markedly high in dehumidification and deodorization effects, and the like, to provide a method for manufacturing the same, an apparatus for manufacturing the same, and a method for using the same.
SOLUTION: The active carbon is obtained by immersing salt water into a stick of carbon or a granular carbon followed by drying them. The manufacturing apparatus has a fire-resistant cage 23 for storing a raw material 21 for carbonization and having an engaging unit 25 into which a fork of a forklift is inserted, and an immersing means such as a salt water tank for immersing salt water into the raw material 21 of carbonized state and a device for spraying the salt water. The apparatus has a pulverizing device 50 for pulverizing carbonized wood materials 21 in the cage 23 and a sieve device 60 for uniformization of the granular diameter of the pulverized carbon.
