Abstract:
To prevent sensitivity failures and characteristic deterioration with the lapse of time in an environmental sensor due to deterioration of a surface protection film formed on an upper layer of the environmental sensor in a display device equipped with the environmental sensor formed in a peripheral region of an active matrix substrate.
In the active matrix substrate having a pixel array region wherein a plurality of pixels are arrayed and a peripheral region adjacent to the pixel array region which are formed on one and the same substrate, an ultraviolet shielding member is provided on a portion which is an upper part of the environmental sensor on the upper layer of the surface protection film in the peripheral region.
