Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance display quality regardless of dispersion in on-resistance of an active element by specifying a relation between specific resistance of a colored layer and resistance of a colored liquid between a pixel. SOLUTION: The specific resistance (x) of the colored layer and the resistance Rden of the colored liquid between one pixel at a forming time are satisfied with the relation g1 (ts )/gsd (ts )>=D1 CF/DCF. Where, D1 CF is an allowable lower limit value of dispersion in color filter film thickness, gs (ts ), DCF are shown by the relation I, and g1 (ts ) is shown by the relation II. In the relation I, DCF is design film thickness of a color filter, Ron(s) is the design value of the active element, ts is a time that the film thickness of DCF is formed on a pixel electrode connected with the active element of the design value Ron(s), V is a DC power source, gs (t) is the film thickness after (t) second of the color filter formed on the pixel electrode connected with the active element of the design value Ron(s), (k) is a proportional constant in electrodeposition, (x) is the specific resistance of the color filter formed by the electrodeposition, S is the area of the pixel electrode and Rden is the resistance of the colored liquid.
