Abstract:

To provide an active silencing device which can silence a three- dimensional space with a single sound source without specifying the frequency and direction.

A monopole sound source is composed of a speaker 6 and an external noise detecting microphone 2 which is opposed to the speaker. This source is controlled by a control system in which the system is approximated by a first-order time lag system in a minute frequency band by limiting the frequency range.
