Abstract:
PURPOSE: To grasp the situation of a target well by eliminating the drawback that the situation of target is difficult to be grasped on the B scope display of an active sonar.
CONSTITUTION: A target tracking section 7 determines motion features 28 of a target and a target track predicting section 8 calculates predictive target track information 30 from on the target motion features 28 and the motion features 29 of a vessel. The information 30 is displayed, while being superposed, on a B scope thus allowing an operator to grasp the situation of the target intuitively.
