PURPOSE: To improve safety by judging whether the turning state is near the turning limit or not based on the detected value of a motion state detecting means when the turning state is detected, and increasing the ratio of the front wheel control quantity against the rear wheel control quantity of anti-roll control when it is near the turning limit.
CONSTITUTION: When the turning state is detected by the output of a steering angle sensor 26, a controller 33 judges whether the turning state is near the turning limit or not based on the outputs of the steering angle sensor 26, a G sensor 27, a vehicle speed sensor 28 and a yaw rate sensor 34. The under- steering tendency of the steering characteristic is increased, the unstable turning state is quickly applied to a driver via the change of the steering characteristic, and safety can be improved.
