Abstract:

To provide active tubular titanium oxide particles useful as a deodorizer, catalyst, photocatalyst, etc., and to provide a catalyst having long-term catalyst activity and a deodorant having long-term deodorization performance.

If specific oxides, such as SiO2, ZrO2, ZnO, Al2O3, CeO2, Y2O3, Nd2O3, WO3, Fe2O3, and Sb2O5, are included in the tubular titanium oxide particles, the tubular titanium oxide particles are particularly liable to be formed in the case the oxides are alkali-soluble oxides and the functions as multiple oxides, for example, solid catalyst function, and ion exchange function, can be imparted to the obtained tubular titanium oxide particles in the case the oxides are hardly soluble in alkali because the oxides are retained in the obtained tubular titanium oxide particles.
