Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active vibration control type suspension member capable of displaying an effective reduction effect of noise in a car room or the like such as road noise.
SOLUTION: With regard to a shaft member 36 and an outer casing member 38 relatively displaceable separately from each other, one of either a plurality of first magnetic poles 56, 58 given a magnetic pole by a permanent magnet 46 or a plurality of second magnetic poles 70, 72, 74 given a magnetic pole by electrification to coils 60, 62 is fixedly provided and the first magnetic poles 56, 58 and the second magnetic poles 70, 72, 74 are placed in opposing positions in the axially right angle direction. Relating force to retain in a neutral position is effected on the shaft member 36 and the outer casing member 38 on the basis of the magnetic action of the first magnetic poles 56, 58 and the second magnetic poles 70, 72, 74 under an unelectrified condition to the coils 60, 62 and axially relative displacement force is effected on the shaft member 36 and the outer casing member 38 by electrification to the coils 60, 62.
