Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compd. having low toxicity, useful as a therapeutic drug for heart failure, hypertention, or the like by condensing a specified compd. with a nucleophilic reagent of a specified formula in the presence of a base, or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The objective compd. is obtained by condensation reaction, in the presence of a base such as sodium carbonate, or the like, of a compd. of the formula (R is H, quat. ammonium, hydroxy, a 1-6C alkoxy or the like; Y is O or S; (n) is 0-4) with a nucleophilic reagent of the formula NH2-NR2-C(= Z)NHR3 (R2 and R3 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl, benzyl, phenyl or the like; Z is O, S or the like) in a solvent such as tetrahydrofuran, dioxane and dimethylformamide, or their mixtures, at from 0°C to the reflux temp. of the reaction mixture.
