PURPOSE: To make the selection between the operations of reproduction, stop, etc. and the operations of cue review, etc. and at the same time to increase the operability, by securing the interlocking between a planetary carrier forming a planetary gear mechanism plus an inner gear and the 1st and 2nd cams and also giving a selective turn to both the planetary carrier and the inner gear.

CONSTITUTION: When the stop mode is switched to the reproduction mode, a major gear 5b turns clockwise by the drive of a motor. Then a sun gear 5 and a planetary gear 9 turn clockwise and counterclockwise respectively. In this case, the counterclockwise turn of an inner gear 6 is prevented by a ratchet 6e and a stop lever 40. As a result, a planetary carrier 7 turns clockwise. Then a detection roller 37 gets out of a detecting hollow part 7c and touches a position detecting part 7b. Thus a detection lever 33 actuates a switch 38. According to a half turn of the carrier 7, the 1st cam 7a has a half turn and an actuating lever interlocking the cam 7a moves a head substrate to obtain a reproduction mode. As a result, each operation can be selected and actuated in a smooth way by the rotation of a motor to increase the operability.
