To provide an actuator device which has a system protected effectively from impact and is simple in structure and small in size.
There are included: an action/motion mechanism 101 which changes its shape to move a derailleur for gear shifting; a drive member 120 which controls the shape-changing by the action/motion mechanism 101; a nut 10 which is connected to the action/motion mechanism 101 and to a drive shaft 122 of the drive member 120; and a snap mechanism. In a first operation mode, the snap mechanism holds the nut 10 in a state of engagement with the drive shaft 122 so that the rotation of the drive shaft 122 causes the action/motion mechanism 101 to change its shape; and when the actuator device 100 is subjected to a force exceeding a given value, the snap mechanism sets the nut 10 to a release mode so that the action/motion mechanism 101 does not change its shape even if the drive shaft 122 rotates.
