Abstract:
A damper 8 is disposed between a vehicle body 2 and each of bogies 3. The damper 8 is a damping force adjustable damper capable of controlling a force (a damping force) to be generated according to power supplied from an overhead line 9 serving as a power source via a battery 12. A control device 21 controls supply power to be supplied to the damper 8 according to a running state of a railway vehicle 1. The control device 21 (a microcomputer 22 thereof) performs limit control of reducing the supply power directed to the damper 8 compared to when a voltage detection value does not fall below a first threshold value Vb, when the voltage detection value acquired via a voltage reduction circuit 24 falls below the first threshold value Vb.
