Abstract:
To provide an actuator that is able to adjust the rotational speed of a rotor without adjusting power supplied to a coil and is reduced in size, and to provide a focal plane shutter with the actuator, and an optical instrument with the focal plane shutter.
The actuator comprise: the rotor; the coil; and a stator. The stator includes: a body part that has first and second magnetic pole portions opposite the rotor and is a magnetic body with the coil wound around it; a recessed part provided in a certain point between the ends of the body part; and a movable part that is movable opposite the recessed part and is a magnetic body.
