The actuator 22 includes a holder 8 for holding a lens 13 and a supporting body composed of an upper side guide 3 and a base part 9 to support the holder 8. The upper side guide 3 and the base part 9 support the holder 8 to move in the direction of optical axis of the lens 13. When the holder 8 moves in the direction of optical axis or the direction of rotation, an abutting part 80 formed on the holder 8 abuts on a regulation part 30 formed in the upper side guide 3 or an abutting part 81 formed on the holder 8 is abutted on a regulation part 90 formed in the base part 9 to restrict the range of travel of the holder 8 in the direction of optical axis and the direction of rotation.
