Moving coils 5a,..., 5d are arranged on respective end faces facing the up/down and left/right directions orthogonal to the optical axis Z of laser light, respectively, of a lens holder 2 for holding a laser light irradiation lens 1 in the center. A yoke corresponding to each moving coil is secured to a fixing member 3 supporting the lens holder 2 resiliently through a leaf spring 4 and a damp box is disposed in the vicinity of the joint of the leaf spring 4 and the fixing member 3 by encapsulating a damping material. The actuator can be rested at an arbitrary position by balancing the driving force of the coils 5a,..., 5d and the yoke 6 and the resilient recovery force of the leaf spring while suppressing unnecessary resonance of the leaf spring by means of the damp box. Furthermore, heat dissipation properties are enhanced through a structure where the coils 5a,..., 5d are arranged independently and the driving force is prevented from lowering due to heat.
