Abstract:
To provide an actuator including a fibrous polymer material and a conductive yarn and having high effect of fixation of the conductive yarn to the fibrous polymer material, and a manufacturing method of the actuator.SOLUTION: An actuator has a fibrous polymer material (10) and a conjugated long body (20) containing a thermoplastic resin and a conductive yarn. The conjugated long body (20) is spirally wound around the fibrous polymer material (10). When total volume of the thermoplastic resin contained in the conjugated long body per meter is V1 and total surface area of the conductive yarn contained in the conjugated long body (20) per meter is A1, the actuator satisfies the following formula 1. 5[μm3/μm2]≤V1/A1≤60[μm3/μm2] formula 1SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
