To provide an actuator structure capable of conserving a position without depending on motor torque when compression ratio variation is not needed.
The control shaft of a double link variable compression ratio mechanism consisting of a rod 33 with male screws and a sleeve with female screws is driven at the circumferential direction by the advance/retreat of the rod 33 accompanying the rotation of the sleeve. The screw in trapezoid is used and a number of grooves 45 are formed radially on the thread 41 of the male screw side. The grooves 45 are processed along the axial direction straightly across a number of the threats 41. Flanks 43, 45 divided into many fine contact surfaces by the grooves 45. Consequently, even when a lubricating oil film is formed due to alternating load effect between the contact surfaces of the screws, pressure increasing of the oil film due to film action is suppressed since the lubricating oil film is segmentalized. Accordingly, position variation due to the load is prevented.
