Abstract:
To facilitate fabrication while suppressing a driving voltage.SOLUTION: An actuator comprises: a lamination body in which a plurality of first electrodes 21 having elasticity and a plurality of second electrodes 22 having elasticity are alternately arranged via an elastomer 23 held between the first electrodes and the second electrodes; a first external electrode 11 for applying a voltage of a first polarity, the first external electrode being provided on an outer peripheral surface of the lamination body parallel to a lamination direction of the lamination body; and a second external electrode 12 for applying a voltage of a second polarity different from the first polarity, the second external electrode being provided on the outer peripheral surface opposite the outer peripheral surface of the lamination body in which the first outer electrode is formed. For the first electrode, one end is coupled to the first external electrode and the other end is not coupled to the second external electrode. For the second electrode, one end is not coupled to the first external electrode and the other end is coupled to the second external electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
