Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup actuator, in which a magnetic flux is efficiently utilized by using a yoke which moves with an objective lens holder.
SOLUTION: A driving mechanism which moves the objective lens 11 in the optical pickup actuator 40 is composed of focusing coils 27a and 27b, tracking coils 28a, 28b, 29a, and 29b, the yoke 42, and a column part 30 which slidably supports the objective lens holder and the yoke 42. The yoke 42 is formed with a holder fixing part which fixes the objective lens holder 14 and an M-shaped plate body which is composed of a magnet fixing part which fixes a magnet 16a opposite to a focusing coil 27a or the like and outer parts which are freely movably inserted into the focusing coils 27a and 27b. Further, a balancer 46 is integrally provided at a prescribed part of the yoke 42.
