To provide an actuator equipped with a detouring structure of a seal member in a loading part region capable of reducing the thickness of a carriage and securing rigidity.

A seal structure comprises a slit S formed at the face 31 of a housing 3 with a loading part 11 of the carriage projecting outward, and the band-like seal member 40 fixed at both ends of the slit S which seals the opening of the slit S over the entire length. In the seal structure in the actuator equipped with the detouring structure for displacing the band-like seal member avoiding the loading part region accompanying the transfer of the loading part region 42 for moving the slit, the detouring structure displaces the band-like seal member from a seal region 41 sealing the slit S in the loading part region to an evacuation region 43 disposed in parallel to the seal region 41 in a direction orthogonal to the transfer direction of the loading part.
