To provide an actuator for improving both of assembling efficiency and reliability.
The actuator A includes a motion conversion mechanism for converting the rotation of a screw nut 2 into the linear motion of a screw shaft 1, and a motor M for rotatingly driving the screw nut 2. The screw nut 2 is integrated with a rotor 5 of the motor M. Accordingly, there is no play between the screw nut and the rotor shaft, and there is no possibility that the screw nut is not driven due to separation of the screw nut and the rotor shaft. Further, the reliability of the actuator A is improved to keep the number of component parts reduced, and the work of mounting the screw nut 2 on the rotor shaft eliminated, so that the assembling efficiency of the actuator A is improved.
