Abstract:
To provide an actuator that can reduce the displacement of a cylindrical member immediately after an output shaft starts a linear motion.SOLUTION: The actuator includes: an output shaft; a cylindrical member of which relative rotation with the output shaft is regulated; a nut member for moving the output shaft in an axial direction by a relative rotation with the output shaft; a housing; a first motor having a first rotor and a first stator, the first motor rotating the cylindrical member with the rotation of the first rotor; a second motor having a second rotor and a second stator, the second motor rotating the nut member with the rotation of the second rotor; and a controller for controlling the first motor and the second motor. In a transition from when the first rotor and the second rotor are both resting (a first state) to when the first rotor is resting and the second rotor is rotating (a second state), the controller supplies a current to apply a force that suppresses the rotation of the second rotor and is of the opposite direction to the direction of rotation of the cylindrical member by the rotation of the second rotor, to the second motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
