Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor magnet structure which has a single-phase claw pole structure, can secure detent torque and dynamic torque sufficiently, has characteristics with a wide rotation movement angle range, has stable characteristics and is inexpensive, and a magnetization method for the rotor magnet.
SOLUTION: An actuator has a single-phase structure comprising an armature coil, and a rotor magnet 30 rotatably provided in the coil winding part of the armature coil with a minute gap therebetween. The rotor magnet 30 consists of one cylindrical magnet which has a magnetic flux distribution pattern wherein the peak positions of N-poles or S-poles or both of them are different step by step in an axial direction.
