Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator, a beam limiting device, an optical apparatus, and an electronic apparatus that are compact and thin due to that an urging member is arranged in a space wound by a coil.SOLUTION: A revolving shaft 23 is coaxially mounted with a permanent magnet 22 and protrudes from one end of the permanent magnet 22, and an arm includes an extension part 24a extending almost perpendicularly to the axis of the revolving shaft and a connecting part 24b provided at the tip of the extension part 24a and connected to a drive object. A coil 27 is wound so as to enclose the revolving shaft 23, the extension part 24a of the arm, and the permanent magnet 22, with electricity supplied in one direction to generate a magnetic field and rotate the permanent magnet 22, thereby rotating the arm in a prescribed direction. A spring is arranged in a space enclosed by the coil 27, urging the arm in a direction opposite the prescribed direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
