Abstract:

PURPOSE: To selectively introduce org. acyl groups into nitrogen in the terminal amino group by allowing a specified desferrioxamine B deriv. to react with an org. acylating agent and eliminating a silyl group.

CONSTITUTION: A desferrioxamine B deriv. expressed by formula I is allowed to react with an org. acylating agent at -10 to 160°C. Then the org. silyl group bonded to O is eliminated by using solvolysis or the like. In the desferrioxamine B deriv. expressed by formula I, the nitrogen atom of the amino group and at least the hydroxyl group in at least one hydroxamic acid group have org. silyl groups, while other groups of the hydroxamic acid group are acylated. In formula I, B is an org. silyl expressed by formula II; at least one of B1O to B3O is org. silyl and others are org. silyl and org. acyl. In formula II, R1s, R2s are each an unsubstd. 1 to 8C hydrocarbyl, R3s is an unsubstd. 1 to 8C hydrocarbyl, Cl.
