An advertisement server 3 retrieves the "reception terminal identification information" of stored communication history information by using the "transmission terminal identification information" of communication history information included in an advertisement information transmission request received from a portable terminal 1 through an infrastructure part 2 as a key, and acquires corresponding "transmission terminal identification information", that is, information showing the portable terminal to which the portable terminal 1 has been connected. The advertisement server 3 retrieves purchase information by using the acquired "transmission terminal identification information" as a key, and retrieves merchandise identification information showing the merchandise purchased by the portable terminal. When a difference between the "merchandise purchase date" of the retrieved purchase information and the "communication date" of the retrieved communication history information is within a fixed period, the advertisement server 3 transmits the advertisement information about the merchandise purchased by the portable terminal to the portable terminal 1.
