Abstract:

To provide an adapter coupler capable of facilitating manual operation further with a light structure.

An adapter coupler 1 for matching couplers of different designs consists of a first binding mechanism 5 for binding the adapter coupler 1 so as to be removable to a first coupler, a second binding mechanism 16 for binding the adapter coupler 1 so as to be removable to a second coupler and a coupler casing 10 for binding the first binding mechanism 5 to the second binding mechanism 16. The coupler casing 10 is made of a fiber composite material, particularly a carbon fiber composite material, and has a shape matching a conventional adapter coupler formed of a metal. The coupler casing 10 has a fiber structure sturdy to a stress load to be received thereby.
