Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restrict a reverse current which flows into an apparatus during a quick charging operation to a minute limit even if a secondary battery is provided in the apparatus and, further, facilitate control, by the apparatus side, of an adapter having a charging function which is on the power supply side such as the on/off control of the quick charging of the secondary battery and the switching control between a quick charging function/an adapter output function.
CONSTITUTION: An adapter 10 has a function of charging a mounted secondary battery B1 and a function of supplying an operation current to operate a connected main apparatus 12. Further, a constant current circuit 20 is provided as a current supply source which supplies a current which is smaller than the operation current to the main apparatus 12 side instead of the operation current.
