PURPOSE: To use an operative microscope even as an ophthalmoscope without deforming it by arranging an optical system to change image alignment and an observing optical path in the rear of an ophthalmoscopic lens arranged in an adapter, and arranging a focus adjusing lens between the optical system and an objective lens.
CONSTITUTION: An optical system 14 to change image alignment and a pupil is installed inside an ophthalmoscopic adapter 1 in an operative microscope 13, and a lens 15 is also slidably arranged along the optical axis between the optical system 14 and an object lens side end part of the adapter 1. An ophthalmoscopic lens 8 forms a vertical and lateral reversal image of a part of an eye on an intermediate image plane ZE1. This image is aligned through the optical system 14, and is formed on an intermediate image plane ZE2 in the size of the original by correcting the left and right sides to the former state. A focus is adjusted to an interested part of the eye on the inside of the adapter 1 by the lens 15. An image formed on the intermediate image plane ZE2 is observed by the operative microscope 13.
