Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for optical connector capable of improving the degree of freedom in wiring designing of an optical cable.SOLUTION: The adapter for optical connector includes: an adapter main body 21 which is engaged, at both ends thereof, with a pair of optical connectors provided to an optical cables to connect the pair of optical cables abutting on each other; a fixing frame 22 which has an opening 31 into which an adapter main body 21 is inserted and is fixed to a surface panel 50 of an electronic apparatus while holding the adapter main body 21 inserted in the opening 31; and a position adjustment mechanism which is capable of adjusting the position of the adapter main body 21 relative to the fixing frame 22 in a direction the adapter main body 21 is inserted into the opening 31.
