To provide an adapter for a sealant wherein a head section is prevented from dropping during a refilling of a film packed sealant without substantially changing a conventional adapter structure.
For this adapter for a sealant, a head section 2 is detachably attached to the tip end section of a cylindrical adapter main body 1, and the head section 2 is constituted of a cap 3 and a nozzle 4 which is detachably fitted on the discharging port 3a of the cap. In such an adapter for a sealant, on the outer periphery of the adapter main body, a large diameter ring 8 is fitted, and a small diameter ring 9 is pinched between the cap 3 and the nozzle 4 of the head section 2. At the same time, the large diameter ring and the small diameter ring are connected to each other by a connecting member 7. Then, at least the large diameter ring 8 is formed in such a manner that a flexible band-shape sheet 8a may be wound around the adapter main body 1, or formed of an elastic material in a manner to seam the periphery of the adapter main body 1.
