To provide an adapter for spectacle lens replacement and a replacement lens unit for a spectacle, which makes it possible to replace and attach a lens of various thickness to a half rim frame as it is without especially requiring lens processing such as step removal processing.
In the adapter for the spectacle lens replacement, at both left and right sides of a frame body with a shape corresponding to the outer shape of the upper part of a lens, a recess formed in the inner circumferential end surface of a half rim frame of a spectacle and a projecting piece freely attachably/detachably fits are integrally formed. Also, the inner circumferential end face of the frame body is provided with a groove formed in the outer circumferential end face of the lens and a projecting plate freely attachably/detachably fits. In the replacement lens unit for the spectacle, the adapter is attached to a lens with a groove formed in its outer circumferential end face.
