Abstract:

To obtain an adaptive antenna which raises the calculation accuracy of the load to raise the performance of suppressing unwanted waves.

The antenna comprises a delay time estimator 2 for estimating the delay time D of delayed waves from direct waves, based on received signals at any one element antenna 1-1 among receives signals at M element antennas 1-1 to 1-M, and delay units 3-1 to 3-M for delaying the received signals at the M element antennas 1-1 to 1-M by the delay time D.The loads w1-wMare calculated from the received signal at the antenna element 1-1 and a plurality of delay signals provided by the delay units 3-1 to 3-M so as to minimize the power of a difference signal outputted from a subtractor 7.
