Abstract:
PURPOSE: To detect the inter-channel interference with desired accuracy by using a digital measurement means and an addition/subtraction means to measure the amplitude fluctuation of synchronous pulses that is caused by the inter- channel interference. CONSTITUTION: The signals received via an array antenna 72 are inputted to an inter-channel interference detector 74 which detects the odd and even synchronous pulses A and B via a sampling circuit. Then a sum signal S and a difference signal D of both pulses A and B are obtained by an addition amplifier 24 and a subtraction amplifier 26. A logical operation circuit calculates the signals showing the amplitudes of pulses A and B from the signals S and D via a BPF in response to the inter-channel interference. A control signal is produced based on the difference between those signals calculated by the logical operation circuit. The control signal is supplied to a digital control circuit 76 to control an attenuating circuit network 80 via plural analog drivers 78 and also to control the output signals of the antenna 72. Thus, the inter-channel interference can be substantially eliminated.
