Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an arithmetic operation amount without decreasing the convergent speed.
SOLUTION: An autocorrelation vector RP+N2-2(k1), a smoothing coefficient vector SP+n2(k1), an approximation filter coefficient Z(k), and an if error signal vector EP(k1) of an input x(k1) are initialized (S0), and if k1 mod N1=1 is true (C1), then inner product is calculated as y'(k1+i)=XL(k2+i).Z(k2) (S2), and then RP+N2-2(k1), y(k1), e(k1), EP(k1), and a pre-filter coefficient vector G(k1), SP+n2(k1) are calculated (S3), k1=k1+1 and n2=n2+1 are calculated respectively (S4). If k1 mod N2=1 is true (L2), Z(k2+N2) is calculated, k2=k2+N2 and n2=0 are calculated and the step returns to the step C1 (S6). The y'(k1+i) is calculated for each N1 time, Z(k2) is calculated for each time N2 (N2<N1) and the others are calculated each time.
