Title:
ADAPTIVE FIR FILTER PROCESSING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3130835
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the address management procedure of an adaptive FIR filter process and to increase its process speed by centralizing address management as at least a cyclic buffer.
SOLUTION: The cyclic buffer DE300 is set by writing reference signals D301, D302...D306 corresponding to respective taps and coefficients C301, C302...C306 corresponding to the reference signals D301...D306 alternately. Then the writing timing of updated coefficients C301 to C306 to a specific coefficient buffer is delayed by a time corresponding to one tap of the adaptive FIR filter and the reference signals D301 to D306 set by being written in the specific cyclic buffer D300 and the coefficients C301 to C306 set by being written to the coefficient buffer are so set that they are always in phase. Thus, the address management is centralized as the cyclic buffer D300.
