To switch the filter coefficients of a delay control filter inserted into a feedback signal path in order to adjust the phases of a transmission signal and a feedback signal at high speed in the case of comparing the transmission signal with the feedback signal regarding an adaptive predistorter distortion compensated transmitter and a method for switching its delay control filter coefficients.
In the case of rewriting the filter coefficients set in a filter coefficient setting register 1-25, a filter coefficient to be newly set is previously read from a memory (RAM) 1-11 in which the filter coefficients are stored and the filter coefficient is distributed to the filter coefficient setting register 1-25 via a test system path to be branched and turned back from a main signal system path to which the transmission signal is transmitted. Since the test system path can continuously transfer data by every clock by pipeline processing, the filter coefficients are rewritten at high speed without interposing an internal common bus with slow transfer rate.
