To provide an adaptor for power line carrier communication for connecting lighting equipment for direct attachment to a ceiling to a power line carrier communication system by utilizing an existing bulb screw socket for direct attachment to a ceiling, and a light emitting body for power line carrier communication.

The adaptor 1 for power line carrier communication is the adaptor for connecting the lighting equipment to the power line carrier communication system. When the lighting equipment is the bulb 20 provided with a base, and the power line carrier communication system is provided with a lamp socket 10; the adaptor 1 for power line carrier communication is provided with the base 2 which is freely attachably/detachably engaged with the lamp socket 10 and can be electrically connected, a terminal 3 for electrically connecting in-between the lamp socket 10, a terminal 4 for electrically connecting in-between the bulb 20, and a capacitor 5 electrically connected to the base 2, the terminal 3, and the terminal 4. The adaptor 1 for power line carrier communication is arranged between the bulb 20 and the lamp socket 10.
