Title:
ADDED AND SUPERIMPOSED NOISE ADAPTING METHOD WHEN CONDUCTING AUTOMATIC VOICE RECOGNITION USING CONVERSION MATRIX
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002049388
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a noise adaptive system and its method in which a noise adaptation is performed in a voice recognition system.

The method includes a step in which a reference model (70) is generated based on training voice signals and the model (70) is compensated for added noise in a cepstrum region. The model (70) is also compensated for superimposed noise in the cepstrum region. In one exection form, superimposed noise is compensated for by estimating a superimposed bias between the model (70) and a target voice signal (79). The bias is converted by a channel adaptive matrix (88) and the converted superimposed bias is added to the model (70) in the cepstrum region.
