Abstract:

To provide an addition crosslinkable silicone material which is made to a silicone elastomer having a low coefficient of friction by crosslinking, does not form a lubricating oil film on the surface of the silicone elastomer and has a reduced coefficient of friction immediately after crosslinking.

The addition crosslinkable silicone material comprises 100 pts.mass of (A) a polyorganosiloxane having a viscosity of 5,000-50,000,000 mPas at 25C, at least 2 alkenyl groups per molecule and at least 0.15 mol% of an alkenylsiloxane unit to all the siloxane units, 1-50 pts.mass of (B) a polydiorganosiloxane having a viscosity of at least 5,000,000 mPas at 25C and no alkenyl group, (C) an SiH-functional crosslinking agent, (D) a hydrosilylation catalyst and 3-90 pts.mass of (E) a filler having a specific surface area of at least 50 m2/g determined by the BET method.
