Abstract:

To provide a novel dye which is especially suitable for dying a textile fiber material, paper and an aluminium sheet or foil and yields a dyed product and printed matter having good light fastness and color brightness.

A monoazo, polyazo, metal complex azo, stilbene, anthraquinone, phthalocyanine, formazan or dioxazine dye is obtained by the addition of a nitrogen, oxygen or sulfur-containing nucleophilic compound, for example, asparagic acid to a dye having one or more acryloylamino groups, for example, a dye of formula 17. An example of the monoazo dye is a compound of formula 101.
