To provide an addition-type silicone composition that achieves both sufficient adhesiveness and compression set at low temperature and in a short period of time in various sealing agents and potting agents for automotive industrial products that require high reliability.SOLUTION: There is provided an addition-type silicone composition comprising: (A) a polyorganosiloxane having two or more alkenyl groups in one molecule; (B) a polyorganohydrogensiloxane; (C) a platinum-based catalyst; (D) a silicon-based adhesion imparting agent, which is a compound having in one molecule one or more groups selected from the group consisting of aromatic hydrocarbon-containing groups, epoxy group-containing groups and linear, branched or cyclic aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon groups, and having at least one or more heteroatoms in one molecule other than the adhesion imparting functional group; and (E) an inorganic filler, wherein the amount of component (D) is 0.05 to 10 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of component (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None
