Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate heat insulation treatment of a communication liquid pipe by providing a refrigerant tube having a check valve interposed therein and a decompression path having a decompressing function to connect the decompression path to the refrigerant tube in parallel with the check valve.
SOLUTION: An additional decompression device 20 is provided with a refrigerant tube 21 with the diameter thereof almost the same as that of an auxiliary liquid tube 16a and a check valve 22 interposed in the refrigerant tube 21. A decompression path 23 having a decompressing function is arranged on the refrigerant tube 21 in parallel with the check valve 22. In a separation type air conditioning equipment provided with the additional decompression device 20, a medium temperature refrigerant passes through communication liquid tubes 14a and 14b in the cooling operation. Therefore, the temperature of the medium temperature refrigerant is made higher than a dew point temperature in the atmosphere, thereby eliminating the need for the heat insulation treatment of the communication liquid tubes 14a and 14b. But as the decompression path 23 performs as decompressing function in cooperation with a cooling expansion valve, it is necessary that the degree of decompression thereof should be within a fixed range.
