Abstract:
To provide an additive giving weatherability without damaging transparency, when it is compounded in a clear paint of which transparency is important.
In this additive, a copolymer is used as an effective component which is obtained from 1-70 wt% reactive vinyl monomer (A) having a benzotriazole group, 5-20 wt% vinyl monomer (B) containing a reactive silyl group, and 10-94 wt% other monomer or a polymer (C) having a polymerizable double bond.
