Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an additive for improving the low-temperature fluidity of crude oil, and containing a copolymer of the (meth)acrylate of an aliphatic alcohol and the (meth)acrylate of the adduct of an aliphatic alcohol and an alkylene oxide.
CONSTITUTION: The objective additive contains the copolymer of (A) the (meth)acrylate of a ≥12C (preferably 16W30C) aliphatic alcohol and (B) the (meth)acrylate of the adduct of a preferably ≥6C aliphatic alcohol and an alkylene oxide (preferably ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide). The molar ratio of A:B is usually 1:0.03W10, and the number average molecular weight of the copolymer is usually 3,000W100,000.
